NICK FRAYZIER  INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT:

Kieran:

Alright, so the first question is what does DMY or do music yourself mean to you?.

Nick

It means pretty much doing it all yourself from the production to like the actual making iof the beat or the instrumental to lighten the lyrics and to recording and to mixing and mastering So, do music yourself incorporates all of that kind of stuff really.

Kieran:

What made you decide you wanted to make music?

Nick:

My love for it, my passion for music. I felt like I could express myself through it, i felt like that was the only medium in which I felt like I fully express myself, and anything I really liked to doing was spending time on, was making music so I thought I might as well try and make some of my own, Because a lot of the music wasn't really, it was speaking about some topics that I wanted to speak about or like my takes on certain topics, so i thought that i might as well make my own because It would be my outlook on some aspects of life and stuff like that is quite unique.

Kieran:

What does success mean to you personally as an artist? Like what’s the end goal?

Nick: 1:56

I'd say financial stability, if i was able to be financially stable from doing Music then I would say iv’e succeeded like you know. Financial stability and also Fulfilment as well, Like being able to think of an idea and manifest that idea into like how I imagined it in my head, and being able to To go into different realms of not just like audio but  like visual stuff as well Like seeing the whole vision fulfilled i’d say, looks like success to me but also you can't really forget about the financial side of things that's why i also say financial stability.

Kieran: 2:45

What was the hardest thing about making the choice to become a musician?

Nick: 2:55

I'd say the Hardest Choice probably would be, just saying how serious i am about it to like my parents even though it wasn’t that hard but I would say that probably would of been the hardest thing, showing how serious I am that i actually want to pursue it as a career because It's a very unknown career to kind of go into. Your mainstream is like going to uni, you study this and you come out with a degree, so it’s quite an unknown path you’re heading towards, so i would Probably say that was the hardest decision i've made.
